V.V. Yevstigneev (b.1937) graduated from the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute in1961. D. Sc. (Phys.-Math.), professor, rector of the Altai State Technical University n.a. I.I. Polzunov, head of "Experimental Physics" department of the Altai State Technical University, RF Honored Worker of Science. Author of more than 300 publications in the field of composite materials, self-scattering high-temperature synthesis of materials, diagnostics of fast-flowing processes.
