A series of problems related to semantic aspects of the cognition system functioning is considered. The specificity of these systems is emphasized in terms of the following conceptions: semantic information, semantic operations, semantic objects, semantic dialogue, semantic systems with a goal. Seven principles inherent in semantic systems are formulated. Applied problems of above mentioned scientific concepts application are set forth.
