The article gives the results of theoretical and experimental studies of laser gyro’s sensitivity to mechanical vibration. First, we found out that there are two mechanisms of vibrating zero drift in laser gyros - the conical movement of the sensitive axis direction and the resonator perimeter detune. Then, we analyzed the characteristic features of zero drift appearance due to vibration in gyros with magneto optical biasing and with dither biasing and identified the ways of reducing or compensating zero drift. Findings of the research show that it is possible to use optimally constructed laser gyros with magneto optical biasing without damping unlike laser gyros with dither biasing. Finally, we give the results of experimental studies of laser gyros with magneto optical biasing.
