Principles are considered for construction and implementation of the reference and information system of search for optimal ways of travel by passenger transportation. An original algorithm of search for shortest ways with allowance for the passenger transportation timetable is described. Architecture of the software and hardware implementation of the system and internet-site for access to the reference information is given.
