Analysis of Protected State of PDF Electronic Documents

Main advantages and drawbacks of electronic documents are considered. General information on the structure of PDF documents is provided. Possibilities and peculiarities of implementation of the most-used plug-ins to protect PDF documents are analyzed. Cost of development of means for the non-authorized access to protected documents is estimated. Some ingenious methods are suggested for breaking different PDF protection schemes given the PDF document can be displayed on the monitor screen.
