An algorithm is given for automatic detection of retroreflectors against the complex high-contrast background within the wide angle of view using laser location systems. The algorithm is based on the calculation of frame-to-frame difference after digital filtering and the subsequent threshold processing of the location image using the given probabilistic parameters of detection.
