The processing of experimental data is considered for the remote lidar method to measure the oil films thickness on the disturbed sea surface on the basis of application of a laser source with the tunable radiation wavelength. It is shown that the previous smoothing of the experimental data allows reconstructing a thickness of thin oil films on sea surface with a high precision even in case of high fluctuations of the signal being received.
