Self-Excited Oscillations of Re-Aligned Gyroscopes

A problem of the motion of the gyro attitude reference is considered. A process of exciting the oscillation mode during the transition through the stability area boundary, taking into account the gimbal rings mass, has been studied. The stability of this mode is established.
