Forces and Moments in Cylindrical Electrostatic Suspension

Aspects of force creation in the cylindrical electrostatic suspension are discussed. Static force and moment characteristics are analyzed for dc suspensions both at small and large displacements of the rotor axis. The influence of nonidentity of gaps of left and right supports on force characteristics of the suspension is considered.
