The feasibility to improve the efficiency of a dynamic damper used to damp mono-harmonic vibrations of a gyroscopic system is considered on the basis of its structure change by re-tuning the damper in accordance with the external action frequency, which means the electrical control of rigidity of elastic link between the damper inertial mass and the system under damping. The influence of the tuning error on the damper efficiency is determined.
