Model of Monopulse System with Discrete Phasing Adjustment for Precision Estimation of Angle Measurements

A mathematical model is developed for the precision estimation of measurements of the object angle coordinates by the phase sum-difference monopulse system constructed on the basis of the two-dimensional equidistant phased array with the discrete phasing adjustment. Systematic angle errors due to digitization of the phase front in the aperture of the phased array in the phase space of measurements are determined for a typical model. Results of the numerical simulation are given. An algorithm of estimation of angle coordinates of the adequate refined model of measurements is proposed.
