Provision of High Phase Stability of Powerful Microwave Amplifiers based on O-type Traveling-Wave Tubes

Instability sources for oscillation phase at the output of the powerful microwave amplifiers based on the O-type traveling-wave tubes are considered together with methods of improving the phase stability of this type amplifiers. Calculation relations are given to analyse the influence on the phase stability of the level of fluctuations of the accelerating and control voltage.
