Method for Indirect Synthesis of Navigation Radio Signal onboard High-Orbit Spacecraft

Aspects of improvement of methods for forming the navigation radio signals of GLONASS spacecrafts are considered. Based on the analysis of methods for estimation of a value of the radio signal delay on the Earth-spacecraft route, a method is proposed for indirect synthesis of navigationradio signal of the high-orbit spacecraft at the expense of the direct retranslation of a radio signal formed by the ground station. The possibility of satisfying requirements to mutual synchronizationof carriers and envelopes of oscillations of navigation radio signal is estimated using different frequency bands and it is confirmed that a system of forming the navigation radio signal based on the proposed method can be constructed in practice. Prospects for developing the orbital grouping of GLONASS navigation spacecrafts are shown.
