The article deals with the ways of improving characteristics of a modulator, a pulse transformer and an accumulator in a radio transmitter with a microwave output device. We show that using an amorphous alloy for the magnetic core leads to a considerable reduction in the volume and mass of the electromagnetic components. Using metastable electrolytes in high capacitance capacitors makes it possible to considerably improve the characteristics of the modulator (primarily its reliability parameters) and reduce the mass and size of the radio transmitter
