Lecture as information semantic system

A lecture is shown to be an information semantic system in terms of foundations of the theory of target systems. The formal lecture description is given and factors, allowing to influence the lecture efficiency, are defined. Provisions for the quantitative and qualitative estimations of the lecture efficiency are stated. Prospective alternatives of the lecture delivery are considered.
