Based on the engineering-and-graph technique of the model synthesis for optical- and laser-and-electronic systems, the design implementation of the graph technique has been developed for the model synthesis of the diffraction laser-and-electronic system of metering the thread parameters. The digraph model, describing the process of the development and examination of the quasi-full-scale similar mock-up model of the Fourier laser-and-electronic thread-meter, is created. The first two stages of the model synthesis for the Fourier laser-and-electronic thread-meter are considered: stage of statement and stage of scheme development. The statement stage of the model synthesis of the diffraction laser-and-electronic system of metering the thread parameters has been studied: initial data is specified and the purpose of modelling is substantiated. Within the framework of the scheme development stage the octar paradigm is created for functional, structural and principal schemes. The principal optical scheme of the system is constructed.
