Technique of developing the automated system for the person identification

Existing methods of developing the automated system for the person identification by fingerprints are analyzed. Advantages of the topological approach for developing such a system are shown. The unique finger-print description technique, applying the topological approach and allowing to automatically identify a person with the use of damaged finger-prints, is proposed to implement the automated system of person identification.
