Estimation of Error of Refraction Index Measurement Using Automatic Refractometer with Quasimonochromatic Source of Radiation

It is shown that by application of the correlation technique to determine the critical reflection angle, the error of the refraction index measurements, which are conducted using the automatic refractometer of the total reflection with the radiation source of the finite spectral range, may be decreased from 8·10^-5 to 2·10^-5.
