The instrumental and diagnostic module is described which is developed for the study of the frequency dependence of the transmission coefficient of optical materials in vacuum ultraviolet. The high brightness sources of the wide-band vacuum-UV radiation (hν=10...70 eV) are applied which are based on the high-current plasma dynamic injectors of erosion type. On the basis of dual open and closed ionization chambers the radiation detector is also developed and investigated which does not require an absolute calibration in vacuum ultraviolet.
